Hi, I'm Alexis!

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY. I'm currently navigating my senior year at Dartmouth College where I'm majoring in Cognitive Science and exploring the nuances of Human-Centered Design.

I enrolled in a UI/UX course that profoundly shifted my perspective. It introduced me to the art and science of user-centric design, emphasizing the importance of truly understanding user needs. Through this class, I not only learned to design aesthetically pleasing apps but also to create experiences that genuinely resonate with users. This experience solidified my passion for the world of design.

My interest grew stronger when I tackled a UX Research course over the summer. This class gave me hands-on experience, from user testing to giving feedback. I learned how to offer useful insights that could shape future classes.

Being both from the Bronx and a first-generation college student adds a unique touch to my work. I believe my background helps me see things differently, making my designs and research both thoughtful and relatable.
